Cross posted to Outdoors.

Does anyone have any experience with Foundation Support Specialist for foundation repair/stabilization? I'm going to have to do some stabilizing of my slab and have received multiple bids. I like their approach and the lower number of penetrations that they are recommending, and the cost is competitive. Just thought I'd see if anyone TexAgs had used them prior to pulling the trigger.

Aggieland:
Anchor Foundation - in my experience since the 80's - has the best solutions that experience the fewest call-backs. Their slant conc. piers are reportedly the solution for most. Perhaps there's others local that are equal?

Most do not guaranty free adjustments past 2-years.

Vicariously witnessed helical solution near Bee Creek soil volatile area that a) didn't work, b) always needed adjustments, c) asked for more money/piers regardless of warranty & d) offered no solutions to other problems contributing to movements

More willing to adopt a concrete solution than anything else/metal.
More willing to adopt fewer interior piers - if slab on grade foundation type - since the interior slab is mostly well supported by always-moist soils.

The other way to go might be a perimeter soaker system w/plenty of moisture sensors in control but best prescription would come from a structural foundation licensed engineer.
