Does anyone know if one of these exists that the bristles don't start falling out after a year? I have bought this one several times and it seems to be one of the better ones, but wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

They can last longer if you don't store it in the sun. Washing the chlorine water off helps too. I know many of us are lazy and don't want to do this.

I would buy two next time and then you'll have a replacement. They're cheap.

They are unicorns. I've just resigned myself to buying one every season.

I get 6-8 years out of mine. But I do remove the screws and switch the direction of the bristles after one side gets worn. I think that doubles the life. I also have a small stainless steel brush that I use if a couple passes of the nylon doesn't work.

Thanks for all the replies. I am bad about leaving mine out in the sun. I think I will try to do a better job putting it up this year and see if that helps!

Commercial pool guy here, this is the best I have ever used:

https://www.amazon.com/SweepEase-Blend-Brush-AquaDynamic-18-Inch/dp/B00LA3Y82M

It has both poly and stainless steel bristles so it is only for concrete pools.

Ok...now do leaf bags/skimmers...

I swear I buy 2-3 every season. Sometimes online...sometimes in person. The more expensive ones that seem like they might last longer have worn out just as quick or are annoying to use like the one that I have now that is supposed to only be used in one direction. I don't know what I was thinking...

Two years old and still holding up well. 17.5" may become a little heavy for some folks. It says you get a lifetime warranty.

I have the 20" from the same company, and its been great going into its 3rd year. When its not in use, I have it hanging on the fence in the sun for most of the day, and no real signs of wear so far. As stated, it claims to have a lifetime warranty, but I haven't had to use it thus far.
