Can anyone recommend a drill or router bit that would be best for drilling holes for hinges in a cabinet door?

The diameter of the circle needs to be 1 3/8" and a depth of 7/16 to 1/2". The thickness of the door is 3/4".

Forstner bit. But you only have a 1/4" of depth to spare, so don't attempt it without a drill press with a good stop. And definitely try it on scrap first.

I have the Kreg concealed hinge jig and it works well. $40 at most online retailers.
