Disposal of old, unused tile?

I have a few boxes of leftover tile taking up space in my garage. One unopened box of 12x12 plus 3 boxes of 6x6, then a couple of boxes of smaller pieces attached to a mesh backing for installing as a backsplash. I'm having a difficult time locating a place that will accept it. It's not really enough for a full room, which is why Habitat For Humanity would not take it. Same with Pennywise. Anyone know of a place that accepts such a donation, or am I just going to have to trash it?

Stash it in the attic for future repairs?

List it on Craigslist or Nextdoor for free.

If you're in a neighborhood you can set it on the curb on bulk pick up and I'm sure one of the hundreds of roaming trucks will grab it.

I hate to throw away good material too, so I feel your pain.

NextDoor.com

I found enough pavers there to fill a pickup once upon a time for free + they helped load them
The remains didn't last more than 1-2 days thereafter

Ship it to your neighbor via UPS with insurance. Collect the cash when it arrives all broken.

This.

The ones near me take virtually everything. Tile, paint (1/2 can or more), old doors, windows, sinks, cabinets, some furniture...

It is also a tax write off as a donation, and if scheduled, they can pick up (careful though, some guys are on programs reintroducing them to society, so some may not be the most upstanding fellas.)

Is the tile leftover from what is currently installed in your house? If so, put it in the attic for future repairs as recommended earlier. If it doesn't match what you currently have, another method of disposal would be to just break them into smaller pieces and put them in your trash over the next few weeks Shawshank-style.

Thanks for all the responses.

We initially tried Habitat for Humanity ReStore, but they wouldn't take it since there wasn't at least 75sq ft of it. This was not tile that matches anything currently in our house; my wife brought it home thinking we would use it to do a new kitchen back splash.

Gave it away this morning to a lady from Magnolia who responded to my wife's Facebook Marketplace listing.
