Do these boxes need to be the watertight kind or can I get by with using these metal boxes? This will get inspected so the county will have the ultimate say but trying to see if I should prepare myself for having to make the holes larger to accommodate the watertight boxes.

I have two outlets similar to this one that will have a granite overhang. I know the faceplate has to be waterproof.

Needs to be weatherproof. Handy boxes like that aren't meant for wet locations. There's no good way to attach a weatherproof or in-use cover with the way the mounting tabs are set back. Box will also likely start rotting away day one. I'd use plastic.
