Wow that looks incredible! Good job with the before and after pic planning. I always forget to do that.

What is up with the eye-level coffee table by the sofa in the before picture of the fireplace area? Is that an illusion.

Thanks! I tried to post them side by side, but that didn't work. That was a temporary location for the kitchen table. I took the pics right before tile demo.

Marble or quartzite splitface tile from Floor and Decor. Very reasonable.

Vent is the existing DCS downdraft. Prefer an overhead, but that wasn't in the cards. We kept the existing double oven for now.

Looks great! For a few hundred bucks you could change the light fixtures over the island & breakfast area as well. Very easy to do it yourself.

Wow it's amazing how opening the blinds and removing furniture really opens up a place! Is the replacement dog still on backorder?
