Any grout gurus know how to match color?

We have a small 6 inch portion of grout where it cracked and came out and I would like to repair it. I don't know how to match the color to where the repair isn't also an eyesore. Should I just eyeball it and do a couple test colors?

Hard to tell from a pic

If you have the piece then take it down and try matching it to the grout chart on display.
I would go to Lowe's and start with either mocha or Chamois in Mapei

Make sure you take the new grout to a spot that is a natural change in lighting or slight change in angle/color. That will hide a lot of sins in custom grout matching.

Before you do that, clean the grout first. Get some steam on there and get the grime out. Not saying there is grime, but you'd be shocked how much the color of a grout can change over time.

agree about cleaning it first. If it gets a lot lighter, check the color "haystack"
