Anyone have recommendations of good contractors in the Houston area for fire restoration? My in-laws had their garage burn down and the main house has some damage to the wiring that will require a complete overhaul. They didn't have insurance because COVID eliminated most of their income so I'm trying to help them out.

I would stick with either a ServPro or Belfor. Should be locations in Houston.

There is an outfit up on the NE side of Houston - Gemstar. Not sure what they are up to these days and what size projects they will take on. We used them 4-5 years ago to reconstruct 2 apartment buildings that had burned to the ground.
