Anyone ever had it installed? Have a pretty big sweet gum (I know I hate it) that has roots getting close to the foundation.

Wondering if this is an option.

If you think the roots are close then they are already under it. Root barriers work,. They just require work to install. You need to go down at least 3 ft. You should assume the roots will extend well past the canopy of the tree.

Would these work on my neighbors oak tree roots that are coming up in my yard?

I need to redo that area anyway and might do the extra work for this.
