Ive never put a pool in. Whats the best way to finance one?

Frost Bank has a good program.

I'd take a look at accessing funds from my HELOC or my securities line.

You can get pool loans up to about 20 yrs in length at different interest rates.

You can also look at cash out refinancing, HELOC options.

We just used central bank of Houston and was pleased with them. We did a secured loan and got 4.5%.

We did a cash out refinance (went from a 30 to 15 year loan), but ended up backing out right as we were getting the city permits. Trying to figure out what to do with the cash now (we want to do some renovations but based on how busy/crazy the home improvement industry is, we are going to wait it out).

We have one scheduled for June, but what are all these rumors on chlorine shortages?

Chlorine is going to be in short supply. Price has already doubled
I'd look into a salt water pool or at least plumbing it temporarily like one.
If you are in their coverage zone check out pool troopers. $150 a month includes weekly cleaning and free use of their saltwater chlorinator system that they plumb in for free for you
No contracts, when your ready to go back to a regular chlorine pool just let them know or cancel and they will plumb it back for you.
I've used them for 3 years and they have great work/ service

I used them and it was extremely easy and next to nothing in closing cost.
