For me it has to be Lineman's pliers. You can find a pair for under $10. The ones I have are channellocks and are almost 20 years old. I was on my way to A&M freshman year after Christmas break and had to stop to secure some of the stuff in my truck bed. I looked down on the side of the road and there they were just laying on the shoulder. Best pair of pliers I have ever owned

A fencing plier is a good all around tool. Northern Tool has it for around ten bucks.
Faucet stem remover that slides into the shower wall.

$10.99, but close enough. In the last 6 months I've needed to put a torque wrench on something 4 or 5 times that wouldn't take a socket. Came across these looking for something else at HF.

Huge time saver when working on my sprinkler system.
I didn't know this existed. Literally this weekend I used a combination of a flat head screwdriver and needle nose pliers to break/rip/unscrew a broken extender out.

Thanks for all the new tools, looks like a couple $100 in Amazon tools coming my way.
