Father in law house. Unit looks very old. Keeps chirping about every 2 hours. I blew it out and a good amount of dust flew out. Maybe that will help. Circuit breaker not showing which switch to kill. Will the back up battery still cause the power light to be on even if I hit the right switch?

Trying to remember how I figured out mine. Think it was just trial and error with a volt meter,
Should be logical, like the hallway near the garage or near the panel. But sometimes construction is not logical.
