Zero maintenance. I've considered staining or sealing but I'm told it can make it slick so I'm going to go with it as is for now and see how I like it. I'll report back later in the summer on how slick it is, how hot it gets, etc.

Life expectancy? It's concrete. I would expect it to last as long as my driveway / sidewalk / etc.
Have heard stamped concrete ends up cracking and peeling.
