Anyone on the site ever restored one of these? I would like to give it a try. Looking to purchase one if anyone here has one or knows of someone that has one. Located in B/CS but willing to travel. Something like the photo below

No but I have a delta tablesaw that could use some refurb love. I did add 6 inches cut depth to my old craftsman bandsaw though. So I guess this post is my "in"

third coast, can I ask what model Craftsman Bandsaw you have? I can't imagine a way to add cutting depth to mine without some serious major work!

I dont recall but it is very similar to the delta posted above. Theres a 6" cast iron piece added to the frame and all the accompanying hardware and parts come with it in a kit.

Check the TAMU surplus auctions. I have a co-worker who restores old woodworking equipment. At least once a month we find a reason to head to surplus for our lab and while there check the HD equipment.
