A couple of questions...

Any recos on a good place that will actually share their prices? Every place we go tell us that they will only quote prices to our dealer. Why is that? So they can mark it up?

Second, my wife wants white/gray counters. We have been looking at quartz, but it is crazy expensive. Any ideas on alternate material? We have ruled out marble.

The only places where it prob gets a bit difficult is at the big yards like KLZ or IMC.

He is an installer though. It sounds like you are trying to price out slabs on your own before you go to an installer.
