We have a brick home with a white stone with our house number on it.

The black has dramatically faded.

is there a special paint I can use on this or should I just tape the entire thing and cut out the numbers with an exacto knife and use a can of black rustoleum?

I have this vision of a small can with a lid that has a brush attached and I can just carefully paint the numbers.

kinda like an over-sized finger nail polish.

open to suggestions.

Thanks, G

Just order one of those brass looking signs and be done. Quicker and cheaper in the long run.

This is one of those times when you go to Sherwin Williams and pay a little more for a quality paint. Get a marine grade oil based paint and it'll never fade again. You should be able to get it by the pint.

I put their stuff on a utility trailer that has sat in the weather for 12+ years now and still looks like it was recently painted.
