Where are you located?

If in Houston, check out Concrete Resurfacing Solutions (the owner's name is Rob). One of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. He did a ~450 sf resurface on my back patio for me last fall.

Just don't do the 1980's pea gravel. That stuff is miserable to walk on.

We have that around our pool on a home built in 1985. It's cracking and messing up. Have talked to bunches of people and nobody has a solution that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
