I have a pier and beam house and I can't seem to find my vent covers.

Before I order some online or start calling around town to try to find some, I thought I'd ask if anybody knows where I can just go buy some locally in Dallas?

I am talking about the 5x20 or so metal plates that you attach to the crawl space vents during the winter.

What about buying foam board insulation and cutting to fit? This works at my pier and beam house, but the vent are inset in a rock wall, so YMMV

What exactly did you buy? I'm not seeing anything that is 5x20 for an exterior cover.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I found the 16x8 covers that matched mine on the site.

You can also have a machine shop fabricate some for you.

I just wanted to bump this thread up, the Rooster Hardware at NW HWY and Ferndale/Easton had them in the back left corner of the store.
