Need some help. Last week when the shower was being installed, the installer messed up and put the corner soap dish on the wrong side. He removed it before the caulk dried and installed it in the correct spot. Now I have caulk on the wall and have removed a bunch by scraping it with a credit card. There is still some sticky residue left over and some caulk that I couldn't get off.

Need help on removing it without damaging the clear coat finish.

Just don't get it on any caulking you are leaving behind because it will break the seal between the caulk and the surface it is stuck too. Also don't use it on a refinished bathtub surround, tub or shower.
