Where does your Softner discharge at? The yard is an option but it will kill everything and I've read conflicting things with the septic system
If you can't handle the stress, log off until August. If you can handle the stress, be supportive and donate to United. No more buildings and concrete. Gotta channel funds to the collective for now.

I saw conflicting information on septic systems as well but talking with my septic company they said it was fine. You could also use potassium if you want to discharge into your yard.

Potassium is considerably more expensive than sodium, like 3-4x the cost.
