Any contractors in the Austin area on here or recommended in the Austin area? I have the sound system, 120" screen and projector with most wiring in place. What I need is the actual design and completion of the seating tiers, walls and ceiling.

I am learning about the insurance and outs now of a home theater. Are you a membe of avsforum.com? There is a dedicated forum to home theater builds.

If you are looking for design guy, Nyal Mellor and Dennis Erskine are two big reputable names. Not Austin based but they world with clients all over. I will probably go with Nyal when the time comes to build in my basement (Colorado).
