Mama is suggesting we restore our deck with one of the paint-on products but from the reviews I've read online most folks report peeling within 6-12 months.

Does anyone have first hand experience with any of these products and is there one brand that actually works? Evidently there is a class action lawsuit against Rust Oleum for their shoddy product.

Part of our deck gets brutal midday and afternoon sun while the rest is in shade or partial shade.

Thanks in advance.

I've used Behr Deckover. I don't recommend it. I don't think it looks great, I've had peeling, and it gets ridiculously hot.

I recommend a pre finished product
The cleaning of the deck and drying time before applying anything is tedious at best
Any product works great but it's gotta be clean and 100% dry, which is impossible in a humid summer
