I currently have a Hunter IC-600PL 24 zone controller that has died on me. In researching replacements, it seems like almost everything popular only comes in 6, 8, or 12 zone versions. I really don't want to spend $400+ on another one of these Hunters because it seems very cheaply made. Anyone have any suggestions for something low cost, but reliable?

Buy an 8 and 16 zone rachio. They can be controlled together via the smartphone app.

Catch it on a sale next time woot offers them for $180 for the 16 zone and $150 for the 8 zone.

Playing with my new 16 zone Rachio right now. While I watch CWS I am controlling from my phone. Do what Whitetail says.
