I'm going to DIY a small shed in my back yard - 8x12, just enough for the lawnmower, a few tools, etc.

What's going to be the best thing for the flooring? 1/2" thick? 3/4"?

I'm trying to do this as economically as I can. I have a limited budget. So what is the best for the money?

You really dont want to go less than 3/4 for a shed floor. Anything thinner will bow and not hold up well.

I did 1/2" osb on 16" centers.. it doesn't come close to bowing.

Sasappis nailed it
I stress TREATED as well, the kids WILL leave door open when it rains unintentionally
The plywood will be stamped with its span abilities, ask lumberman to be sure and he will also guide you to ext. glue plywood ... wonderful if it was T&G as well

Glue/screw it down or at least glue/ringshank nails
