I dont have one but its probably close to 26…. If I didnt 3 putt everything i could be low teens
Not midseason form...
Got down to 11 last fall but back up to 13 with some swing changes

Love it. Impressive stuff. If I knew how to hit a driver like I did two years ago I'd be an 9 again. It's hard to start your approach w/ a 3/4 every time. Love all other parts of my game, every part

Do we know what apps provide an official GHIN handicap? I know you can pay thegrint, but i also see there is a GHIN mobile app now (don't know if you can use this to get your official GHIN?)

You typically have to join a local club in affiliation with your state golf association backed by the USGA.

Sitting at a 16.2 currently. Just started playing again in late July after about a 10 year hiatus from golf.

Ballooned up to a 6.8 last year. Somehow less practice has helped. Also adjusted my iron lofts down 2 degrees to match my set I was using when I was playing really well. New driver and shaft helped as well as I've gotten older and my swing has changed some.
If could find time to practice and play more I think I can get it back down to 2. But for now the occasional round is ok

Started trying to take golf seriously Oct 2020, began tracking my HCi a year ago (was around 24), just got under 16 to a sweet 15.9.
Felt good about my progress until I saw all the posters' HCi's on this thread.

Handicap index currently at 17, down from 24 in about a year. Every round I feel like I'm almost there. Keep leaving a chip here, missed fairway, a couple 3 putts there and just a bad line away. Ball striking has been on point.
I probably spend 70- 80% of my time as a 6pointsomething. 5-10% lower than 6 HI and 10-15% at 7pointsomething. The one thing that I watch is my score volatility. When I am a "good 6" I am consistent in my scoring. For the past several months I've been a bad 6, with scores are all over the place, but enough good scores to keep the HI stable. Fall/Winter golf ain't my bag.
When people ask what my handicap is... I say...

Right before the end of the summer through Thanksgiving I was playing my best golf and was a +1.8 for the first time ever in the (+). However I was playing 95% of my rounds at pebble creek and "mastered" how to play it. Shot a 67, my best with a double bogey (water) on #8 and a 3 putt on 17 (missed from 2 feet or less lol). This was right after playing 2 under and 1 over . So, I was feeling it. Took off about 1.5 - 2 weeks and my swing got all discombobulated. Struggled through a phase of cold putting that left me doubting everything. Played a few rounds at 80 or near. Finally feel like I'm piecing it back together as my putting is coming back around. Sitting at a .3 currently.
