It would be awesome to have atleast one other team event like this year. Would love to see:

• By Sponsor (Titleist, Callaway, ect)
• By Continent
• Maybe do an NBA all star game format, where captains do a live Draft (Bryson vs Brooks would have been fun this year) maybe have a skills competition prior ala the dunk competito

Probably hard for guys from Japan, Mexico and Australia to all be teammates.

Um, the Ryder Cup has been around for way longer and has always been a big deal. Either you're new to golf, or you're a dumbass.

I dont think theres a way to incorporate team events into the PGA Season.

Ryder Cup is the ultimate golf event. Just a couple buddies or sponsors event isn't going to get the juices flowing.

Only way for it to truly work would be a team event major but thats just not possible nor makes sense.

It would be awesome and fun, but as you said, not realistic. The one team event now is not that popular. Even the match play event is not super popular. Probably why the Ryder Cup is so awesome. We don't care near as much about the Presidents Cup. Maybe we will the next 10 or so years as it could be more competitive.

Presidents Cup unfortunately doesn't have the history like the Ryder Cup, and also the USA has won all but 1 cup i think?

It's just not as entertaining and less passion.

Lets do, could be good, but conference would be better probably. I wouldn't mind a female on each team and have a mixed alternate shot game

and here is how it happens. Phil issues the school challenge on social, barstool picks it up starts talking it up winning school get 20M to the general scholarship fun.

Then as an added bonus, the all the schools do a fund raising drive and losers have to match the public donations made to that school.

So the TAMU Foundation raises 2M and wins, each other team has to donate 2M to TAMU
whorns raise 4M and win, our team has to give 4M to whorns (all taken care of by the prize money/sponsors of course) but made in the players name. So we'd have a headline Jordan Spieth donats 500k to Texas A&M.

Chez Reavie could make that team as well. ASU would be strong

The college idea is intriguing, especially if it was played around the time of the CFP?
