So my buddy played there today
Apparently a guy hit his ball way left on one hole and playing partner didn't go help him look for it. Once on the green he asked him why he didn't go help and something was said back and then a fight started.

So apparently there were a lot of people playing that shouldn't have been playing (more than normal) and it was a slow round.
Dude hit his ball way left onto the hole my buddyvwas playing. He was in a fairway bunker then chucked it out if the bunker into some nasty **** and no one in his group stopped to help him look for it. Words and punches were exchanged on the green lol

I imagine it's common courtesy to bow out if you're playing terrible in a Monday Qualifier. If you're +3 after nine there's a good chance you're not coming close.

I have no idea what the etiquette is for guys that aren't in it, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't entitle you to tackle a guy while your dad holds everyone at bay with a putter.
Don't think anyone was insinuating that...just that not helping to look for one wayward shot doesn't add up either...I think (would hope at least) it was more of the straw that broke the camel's back
