EVENT 3 IS NOW LIVE! The angry emoticon represents the red hot intensity I know everyone will bring to this event.

This event is one round and the deadline to complete the round is Sunday, November 1. This is the last event before our first major, so go out and make sure your game is sharp!

REMINDERS:

1. You must decide whether the event is going to count toward the tour BEFORE you play.
It's not allowed to play and then if you play like crap decide to play later in hopes of putting up a better score. This is on the honor system. If you feel the need to cheat to beat a bunch of strangers in an online tour event for no money then take a look at your life and figure out why you are the way you are.

2. Play by the rules.
No breakfast balls, no mulligans, no gimmes, no "I'll count that good because if I had been trying harder I would have made it." Grinding over two-footers is good for your game and builds character. Don't improve your lie. I highly recommend everyone brush up on the rules for unplayable, red stakes, and yellow stakes.

3. To facilitate pace of play the following local rules are in effect.
- For lost balls or balls out of bounds you may use normal stroke and distance procedures or you may drop with a penalty of two strokes. Details here.
- Since these are recreational rounds you may pick up after reaching net double bogey. If you don't have a handicap, your max score is par +5. Details here.
- If you're playing match play or best ball it's not required you hole out and you may mark your score according to the most likely score as allowed in the rules of golf. Details here.
- Bunkers that are not being maintained are ground under repair.

4. Points are awarded as noted below.
  • 300 - 1st place
  • 225 - 2nd place
  • 175 - 3rd place
  • 150 - 4th place
  • 135 - 5th place
  • -5 points for each place on down, minimum of 10 points
5. Handicaps
Handicap for the event will be your official handicap, or if you don't have an official handicap the low end of your estimate on TheGrint minus one. If you have an official handicap not tracked on TheGrint, contact bagger05 via TexAgs, TheGrint, or texags.bagger05 at gmail to give him your info.

Playing this afternoon. Clear and high 70s predicted. (Temp, not score, obviously.)

Hey, I played my third round but in retrospect I'm not sure if my round was eligible or not.

I played at Austin Bayou which is a nine hole course, but the scorecard just has you double up for 18. The course is fairly short - 3166 yards for a par of 36. It was pretty windy, but still for the most part it wasn't very challenging due to it being short and wide open with fairly straight forward greens, which led to me shooting lower than my typical round.

Not sure if the 9/18 setup disqualifies it according to the TexAgs tour rules.

Since we are playing net, as long as it has an 18 hole slope/rating you're good.

Coming up on the last few days of the event. Only thirteen participants (which made me much less proud of my current top ten ranking).

Weather in Dallas is supposed to be FANTASTIC this weekend and hope it is where you are, too.

Get out and play. Next event is our first major!

Playing Miramont Saturday to post. Last time put before my wedding In Feb shot a 79 with 3 3 putt bogeys and a 10 on 16 hitting 3 OB. Would have been life time low round on a or 72 without 16. Haven't played that well since.

Getting out today, but probably gonna be tough to get out much more. Getting cold out here in Oregon and we are losing daylight!

Between the punched and sanded greens, then overseeding, then it freaking snowed, I'm not sure I will be able to get a round in here anytime soon.

Finally got a round in. Is there a way to see the leaderboard? I looked through a few previous threads and nothing stood out.

You can view the leaderboard at grint.com. For some reason I don't think the app lets you view the tour leaderboards.

You can view it on the app (at least on iPhone, not sure about android). It's kind of buried, but you have to go to the "career" tab on the bottom. Then select the bottom item that says "Tours".

Thanks to everyone who participated. How about some results!

29 participants! Amidst football season and 2020 BS, that's a pretty solid showing.

Amongst the low handicappers:

Aaron Jaska with the low net to par (-4.3) and low gross (73).

For the 6-10 group:

Jordan Hunt with the low net to par (-1.5) and Jedd Raney with the low gross (78).

For 10-16:

Jonathan James with the low net to par (-5.9) and the low gross (80).
Jonathan James was also the overall winner!

And the high handicappers:

Geoff Hawtrey with the low net to par (-1.2) and the low gross (92).
