Not surprised. At least 9 tournaments have now been cancelled.

To me it is a little surprising especially when the next 3 majors have made no announcements. this event isn't until September right? Maybe wait to see what the PGA and US Open do before calling it quits.

Edit: just saw the PGA has been postponed. I think they run the Ryder Cup to so that makes a little more sense but US open and Open Championship are still a go from what I've seen.

Thing with the Ryder cup is also points. These guys are missing at least 8 tournaments that give valuable points.

Masters can take the Ryder Cup week.

Well there you go. I'd at least wait until a decision was made about the US Open.

Qualifiers for the US Open are in jeopardy, so that means the tournament is in question I would think.

Would be fun to play the four majors and Ryder Cup in a five week span sometime this fall

Wonder if a potential olympics postponement will sway their decision. Even though it is ~6 months out, I wonder what they'll decide to do.
