The PGA TOUR released a statement earlier today stating that the tournament would go on and fans could request a refund if they desired.

I have not seen what you reported, but that would be a pretty quick about-face to the earlier message.

I've seen it elsewhere now.

I wasn't questioning you, I just think it gives a glimpse into how chaotic this thing is. It is relatively early in the day to have a statement released and a subsequent follow-up decision that applies to it.

The question now becomes whether it will be up to the caddies or the allowed media/essentials to yell during back swings and for the ball to get in the hole from 200 yards out over the weekend. Big responsibilities!

Yep. Bet The Masters follows suit. They previously said the show would go on as planned but don't see any way they would be the only ones to have fans. Maybe they're playing wait and see.
