Might have the opportunity to visit Dubai in a few weeks and thinking about taking the clubs. Anyone play affordable courses over there that are worth checking out? I know they have some really nice courses, but I don't know if I can justify spending $300 a round with the way my game currently is.

It's all expensive. Jebel Ali has a 9 hole that's actually really good. It's not cheap but it's not $250-300 like the others.

If you're going to pony up the money, play the Majils course at Emirates Golf Club. Nothing else I've played over there is anywhere near as good. That said, I usually played the Jebel Ali 9 holer because of the cost.

Played Dubai Creek in the early to mid 90s. Current high price is $130 Thursday thru Saturday. $108 otherwise.
