I did my first Golf club fitting yesterday at Club Champion in Lewisville. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking to make a change with any part of the bag to invest the time in a fitting prior to spending the money on new clubs.
Maybe I was a little taken in with all of the technology and data produced, but my eyes have really been opened as to how I will approach future club purchases.
FYI...they are running their winter sale on fittings and I was able to do the entire bag for $175 (normally $350). If you are looking for a place in DFW, go to CC in Lewisville and ask for Joe. I had a GREAT experience and never felt pressure to buy clubs. In fact, Joe invited me back for another 2 hour session to continue working on my driver as it was obvious fatigue was setting in.
