looking for somewhere to take my 17 YO son for a weekend of golf this june. somewhere to stay Friday/saturday night, with golf, etc. We are near Tyler, would like somewhere within a couple hours. Recs?

Pine Dunes maybe. Haven't been in about 10 years but I think I remember them having lodging.

I got an email recently from PInes Dunes saying they are adding/remodling/ something to that effect some new places to stay there. Not sure when it will be complete but from the renderings inside the email they looked super legit. Very upscale looking.

Stayed and played at The Links at Land's End out on Lake Fork a few years ago. Course was a lot of fun and the cabins and staff were much better than I was expecting.
