I know it is an extremely difficult ticket, but any insights on how best to try to secure a Sunday ticket for The Masters? As it happens, I am going to be in Augusta that day and I would enjoy going to the tournament.

Easy to do if you have around 2k...... Or wait around the course and buy one half price around noon
Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

In the next week or so, the 2019 tickets will be mailed to the folks that have badges, won the ticket lottery, etc. When that happens and actual tickets are in people's hands, that is when secondary market (like Stubhub) prices will typically see a drop in price due to a boost in supply of tickets that go up for sale. It's usually temporary. So if you want to secure something in advance, I'd advise keeping an eye on Stubhub, etc. over this next week and the first week of March to have your best chance of getting something at a decent price.

Thanks, Danny. I like your approach much better than the BigHitter's.

And don't get me wrong, they will still be very expensive. But you stand a good chance of saving a few hundred bucks in that window for a regular tournament round ticket.

Sunday is the easiest and cheapest ticket day of the tournament days.
Lots of people don't want to be there on Sunday as it's impossible to follow all the action in person.
If you're not buying on a secondary market in advance, I'd go to the back gate or gate on Berkmans road around noon - 130 and ask every person leaving. You'll get an exit ticket for sure.

Not sure if it's like the for actual rounds, but 2 years ago when I went for practice rounds, you had to scan the ticket when you were leaving if you planned on coming back in. So if people just walk out and give you a ticket, they might not let you enter

I'd be careful about buying outside the gate. I've seen cops and Augusta people busting and ARRESTINg ticket sellers outside the gates. Cop cites the seller and and Augusta person confiscates the ticket. Also their cell policy is no joke. Seen people have badges revoked on the spot and escorted off property by security.

Other than all of that, it's an amazing experience. just follow the few rules.

The trick is having them concealed in whatever you have with you that would bypass the metal detector. Hidden bag pocket, etc. I've been before on a rainy day and they weren't all that thorough about checking our ponchos, etc. (some were, some weren't)

I would never do it. Seems ridiculously stupid given the ramifications of getting caught + easy to be seen whenever you pull it out. Anyone desperate for pics just needs to go on a practice day.

My ticket broker tells me that it is rumored ANGC is not going to allow re-entry and that is driving an increase in prices, in addition to Tiger.

In the past few years they stamped your hand as you were leaving...I guess you could try rubbing that off on the buyers hand.
