It's more than the past two weeks, though. Didn't he stumble towards the back half of last season? I don't remember when it started, but he's been trying to figure things out for a while now.

For all the hand wringing over Speiths putting, his driver is what's killing him. I think hes found OB several times this weekend off the tee.

Because he's awesome. Rory playing top level is some of the most amazing golf I've ever watched in my life. And he's a good guy. Not hard at all. I won't hold him not being an American against him except in the Ryder Cup.... Then again he was half of one of the most historic pairings in RC history so he still deserves credit for that too.

As a golf fan, how could you not?

I like Rory, and my hot take is that when Rory has his A+ game for four rounds, it rivals (if not better than) Tiger's A+ game (again, for 4 rounds). And I'm obviously a huge Tiger fan.

I like Rory and I'm not really much of a Tiger fan (at least compared to most), but this is just flat out wrong. 'Hot take' is not the phrase for your opinion. Lol.

I think my disliking of Rory comes from statements just like this. As someone who grew up with tiger and only tiger it pissed me off when everyone desperately tried to label Rory as the "next tiger" when Tiger was dealing with his issues.

I know Rory is a great golfer but he hasn't taken that next step yet.
