I just got on to book a tee time for Kapalua in 2 weeks during our family vacation. Only to realize they are shutting the course down for the year. This has been a bucket list course for me. Upset is an understatement.

I've played Kaanapali Kai and The Dunes. Thinking I'll do the Kaanapali Royal this time around. Is the other Kapalua course worth it? Any other recommendations?

Take the ferry over to Lanai and play Manele.

Agree with above rankings and ferry recommendations. Other options if willing to drive

Just make sure they aren't punching greens on any of the courses you want to play.

The other Kapalua course isn't nearly as good as the Plantation course, but it's a nice course with a handful of Oceanside holes. It's a Palmer-designed course
