Any recommendations for courses in the area? It will be late Sept or early Ocr.

It's a little drive outside of the city, but me and a buddy were up there last year. He's a club corp member so we were able to get on at River Creek Country Club.

That place is incredible. Probably the favorite round either of us has ever played. Great course in great condition, gorgeous homes lining most fairways, right on the banks of the Potomac, bald eagles flying around. Not a single complaint from either of us about the experience.

River Creek is nice -- but it is a hump out to Ashburn.

The closest course I've played to DC was Lake Presidential which in Upper Marlboro, MD. It's about 25 miles from downtown. Very nice course

I've actually been in the Burning Tree clubhouse.

Felt like one wrong look would get me kicked out.
