Tiger swinging it well and putting well. Two bad chips though. One of them didn't hurt as he still made the putt but the other one cost him one if not two strokes. But that's really the only bad thing so far. He's -3 through 12, a couple shots off the lead, playing as well as anyone on the course other than that one bad chip. Looking really good swinging that driver.

I thought he looked good on his first round back. Easy swings looked a lot easier to maintain, and a rusty short game is the only thing that has him out of the lead.

Saw several of his long putts hit on or within an inch or two of the lip. A bad chip cost him a shot or two as well.

Dude can be competitive with his current game and a little polish around the greens. One shot tracer had his drive carry 303 and another 283.
