I have been struggling for years playing golf. I found a free video series on YouTube that totally changed my game. It is called Elite Performance Golf and it is taught by kinda goofy guy in Austin. His big thing is creating and preserving the energy in the backswing, then delivering it to the ball. Very simple method- not easy, but simple. I am hitting the ball better than ever. I don't know the guy, never met him and haven't paid him a dime- but he is really on to something.
If anyone is just starting out in golf, I wish I had found these 30 years ago.

Got a set in my bay reserved for the OP.

I was thinking that this thread was going go along the lines of "I have stopped bogeying/doubling/tripling every hole! All I had to do was sell my clubs and stop playing!".

Was not expecting OP.

The title was meant to draw attention. Obviously, no one figures out golf, but I have made significant improvements in scoring and consistency. I was hoping to throw out some helpful information to people who are struggling, or just taking up the game. I have had lots of lessons and I go to the driving range regularly. But I have improved more by watching the Elite Golf Performance videos than anything else I have done for my game. To me, they just made lots of sense. Simple theory, although not totally simple to do. If anyone else checks them out, I hope they help you like they helped me. Man it feels good to hit a great golf shot!!
