And talked to my buddy who plays proffessionally and who's best friend is on pga tour....less than half of pro golfers play blades
This is the exact statement my pro said yesterday. I am a 4 handicap, and was fitted yesterday for Titleist irons on a Trackman. I hit everything they had t offer. I ended up going with the AP3's. It was all about the quality of my misses. I have played both Titleist AP2's and Ping i's the past few years. The loft on the AP3's is about to degrees less per club, hence the distance is longer. What surprised me was the launch angle was the same as my Ping's and AP2's.Mr. Nussbaum said:
Play the most forgiving clubs your ego can handle.
I get that, and if i could hit a 6 iron that far i would be worried. I am approaching 60 years old pretty fast. Swinging at 80% allows me to hit more greens and score that much better. I will see what the AP3's do for my handicap I want to play well. If these clubs do not help me than I spent a lot of money for nothing (but the really are shiny.....).Mr.Bond said:
I hit the AP3 and Apexs and couldn't get past my. 6 iron going 200+ yards. That would require an entire bag change for me. But some guys really liked that distance

Saw Trevor today for my first ever true Iron fitting. It went really well and I loved the results. Also in my humble opinion trackman kicks GC 2s ass as far as launch monitors go
