Looking for a place where I can stay and play that also has a pool the wife can hang out at.

I am not looking for Hyatt or Jw Marriott type resorts. I am wanting more small scale. Literally just the course and condos with a pool to use.

Right now I am leaning towards vaaler creek. Was just wondering if their are any other ones I should consider?

Not sure if that's really your wife but well done sir. There the Hyatt in Bastrop but that's a pretty big resort. I'd also look into 4 seasons and TPC Las
Colinas. Despite the rumor it's a very nice course and the hotel/pool/spa are hard to beat.
