To answer your question, OP...about twice every round.

At Houston National, every time I play 11 and 17.

12 makes me happy as is down wind and downhill and typical the fairway is concrete so I can get a 300+ drive on occasion.

Take a break for 2 weeks, and then quit forever.

Took a 11 year break. Seems to have solved my slicing issue.

90% chance it's eye related. Focus on the ball. The inconsistency is because sometimes your eyes are moving this way, sometimes they're moving that way, sometimes they're staying still. That's why it's so unpredictable. Practice focusing on the ball through your swing with some half swings and work your way up to full swings.

Tldr: keep your head down

100 -> 90
90 -> 80
80 -> 70
70 -> 60s

It is the same challenge at every level yet your mistakes become more mental than mechanical. The challenge doesn't go away at any level, so step 1 is accepting that and asking yourself what you are looking for out of the game.

Take some time off, WATCH a lot of golf, DREAM a lot of golf and then spend TIME practicing. Become a student and learn why you are fading the ball. If you need someone to assist you at first great, but we don't have the luxury of having a coach on the course every time the wheels are falling off.

Keep your head up and get back to it.
