That's the course I grew up on in the mid 1980s...
A buddy from Van Alstyne texted me saying two workers got into an argument on one of the fairways and it escalated into a fight. The younger guy gained the upper hand and grabbed his AR (? poster above me says shotgun---so who knows?) from the nearby golf cart (apparently he uses the AR for hog control out there).
Shot the guy in the face while he was still on the ground. This comes from an eye witness who was licensed to carry but elected to not intervene with his pistol against a madman with an AR.
Killer fled into the woods and was ultimately tracked down.
