This forum used to be rife with the likes of Bohunk, Dark Knight, and Potcake posting vitriol for those hapless sips.
Now, aside from that weirdo tceh fan who posts nonsense all day, you can hear the crickets through the window and a tumbleweed just rolled through the living room.

Yep, lots of non-rivals (i.e. tt and uh) hanging around begging for attention. They don't seem to understand that just because you play someone, doesn't make them a rival- just someone on your schedule you play.

I tried getting involved in this forum years ago. The staff banned me multiple times. They want it to die. You cant say much thats remotely offensive on rivalries anymore.

Pretty sure they wanted it to die in its heyday as well. That said, it kept us regulars off the other boards and somewhat gave us a place to have free rein where we wouldn't cause too much carnage to the rest of the site. Didn't stop the ban hammer from swooping in a lot but we probably deserved it.

I've lurked here for a number of years so I remember the heyday. A more recent example of a questionable Mod decision is when the Please Consider This thread was started. It was a harmless thread that was allowed to remain up for many months, an OR secret. Once it was mentioned in the Zoo and a few other boards, you could see an uptick in daily traffic to OR which also resulted in more replies to other threads on the board. Mods yanked it with no explanation. The one thread driving the most traffic to a board pulled and once again, the board went back to having week old threads on the front page. Maybe a tin foil hat theory but the results are apparent.
