The Big12 is awesome, and recruits are taking notice. That's why the Tards picked up 1 whole 4 star in their recruiting class. Big 12 champs Baylor did them 1 better with 2 4 stars.
Why does this matter if a majority of these 4-star players just sit out when it counts the most, the bowl season?

Because it doesn't "count the most" in bowl season unless your team is playing for a National Championship. How often have you seen a highly regarded player opt out of a regular season game, versus the scores of top talent doing so for non playoff bowl games?
When the a priori assumption is incorrect, the outcome of the argument is off. I'll dumb it down for you. Garbage in, garbage out. You're better off telling us how much better your conference will be without all of the teams desperately trying to get out of it.

If the Big 12 is so dominant, then why are two of its members trying to flee?

To be fair, the pinnacle of football for most all of the players of the B12 is the Alamo Bowl, or whatever week before Christmas bowl they get into. Of course they're going to be pumped for that. That's just not as interesting to teams and players that have higher aspirations.

The BDF is finally proud during the most lame bowl season where the SEC is still going to win the national championship while their champ played the 3rd place SEC team.

At least the BDF teams as you call them played their games. No quitting like the aggies. Tech played with only 7 players available last night against an 11th ranked team on the road. Two best players missing. No excuses. You guys would have quit on that one too. 12th man is no more. The old favorite Aggie movie "We've never been licked" should read now "we always quit"

Poor sad, techtard. Has no hope at all for future in terms of football, so only thing he can cling to is rationalizing a convoluted, ill-conceived thought-process of "Aggies quit, therefore tech is better".

Despite all these BDF losers breaking out the tweezers and stroking their micro-peens, there's not a school in the BDF that wouldn't hit Mach 12 getting to the SEC if they were invited....
Sad but true, and it's not a good thing for college athletics that this is a fact. It's debatable whether OU and Texas will be able to compete at a high level in the SEC, the rest of the big 12 programs would only be going there for money and to get slaughtered. Half of the current SEC programs aren't able to compete at a high level now and the chasm is only going to get worse over the next 5-10 years.

Of course! For football programs, it's all about money, and if you want the most, become a member of the SEC. There's no denying that. But with the teams coming in, I really like the direction the BigXII is headed.

There is no doubt what you are saying is true. The Big 12 will be a much better conference without tu and OU. Hopefully the big 12 will treat all its members equally and fairly without those 2 programs involved.

It's the SEC that got greedy, turned its back on one of its members and let the slime of the CFB world into its conference. The long run will prove out what a bad mistake that was.

So you have bowl agreements where you match up...

Our 2 versus Your 2
Our 3 versus Your 3
Our 5 versus Your 5
(or whatever it is)

Our 1 and 2 play in the CFP. You get left out. The match ups are now...

Our 4 versus Your 2
Our 5 versus Your 3
Our 7 versus Your 5

You surprise everyone an win a couple of them because you're fired up about playing us and we see this as a way to get extra practices in.

Yawn. Your 3 beats our 5. So what?

No, we WANT them to leave! The SEC will implode with the Horns in there messing everything up. We get a nice upgrade with the teams coming in.
Okay, so, in a trade, you give up the sips and Sooners to get BYU, Cinci, Houston and UCF. You consider that an upgrade?

You exchanged Mizzou and A&M for West Virginia and TCU. Do you consider that an upgrade, also?

Do your television partners consider those "upgrades," also? Do you expect to make more money per school per year, going forward?

Good luck with that!
