You left out one of the best ones. From the files of "Everyone is a little bit racist":
Quote:

"Less than 6% of our current student body is black," wrote Larry Wilkinson, a donor who graduated in 1970, quoting a statistic UT-Austin officials have stated they're working to improve. "The tail cannot be allowed to wag the dog.. and the dog must instead stand up for what is right. Nothing forces those students to attend UT Austin. Encourage them to select an alternate school .NOW!"

I also wonder why one of the names was redacted while others were allowed to be published.

Maybe because the names they didn't redact, Bowling and Arnold, were less racistly than the others, or maybe those two are rich enough to not give a ****. There's a difference between a $1 million donor who might own a local business and an owner of a hotel chain who donates buildings. You need both, and the former are more likely to be hurt by a cancel campaign.

Even the late Joe Jamail would get a kick out of this. I bet he knows to air his grievances on the phone and not in an email.

I wouldn't be crowing about any of this. And while those were less than eloquent, and likely why used by the Tribune, I've had enough sensitivity nonsense to last a lifetime already. Everyone needs to move on and quit stirring this divisive pot.

The resident idiot while defending the racist origins of the "eyes of Texas" has spoken.

Quote:

UT has always been held to a higher standard than A&M simply because UT is "of, by, and for the people of Texas" and TAMU has always been just "A&M." (A&M was a federal construct and a vestige of the 1870s Reconstruction "occupation" government of Texas. Not being "of, by, and for the people of Texas" is the exact reason Texas A&M was looked down upon by Texans in 1876. They have never been able to wash off that stench.)

"From the earliest times" state's namesake university has been "the cherished design of the people of the republic and the state of Texas."
It's the other edge of the sword.

There are Aggies, and then there are a g g ys. The Aggies are the "2%ers" who represent intelligent thought and actually contribute to the betterment of Texas.
a g g ys go to A&M for a racist, redneck cultural indoctrination. And to try to learn farming. And to play Army.

The racist a g g y faction in Texas is alive and well, as evidenced by the shrine to white supremacy at the center of the A&M campus. Remember that during King Gill's time at A&M they were promoting local Klan rallies over the PA system during home football games. After Brown v Board they held a campus referendum to assert they would never abide by the decision. The racist roots of A&M run very deep. Jefferson Davis, Sul Ross, King Gill, John Sharp. The list of racist pieces of **** within the a g g y culture is long. Today it numbers over 500,000.

A&M exists to represent the racist element in the state and in the state legislature. And to perpetuate racism in Texas.
UT has always been held to a higher standard. Fighting racism at UT leads to change at least somewhere in Texas. Fighting racism within the culture of Texas A&M is a losing battle. a g g ys will never reform. "Tradition" at A&M is just a g g y code for what we call racism.

It's just the way it is.

And always will be.

The fact that such a deluded POS is able to survive in our civilization is further evidence of its decline. Life has gotten way too easy, and we are no longer weeding out the inferior genes. Loser culture is celebrated, Democrats dominate all institutions unchallenged. We're ****ed.

Could you imagine if "Randy" applied for UT admission today? I have no doubt the admission committee would spend 10 seconds on that application today.

A ton of kids who grew up bleeding orange and white now have very little chance of being admitted to the UT. That is one reason they have problems drawing students to games and students don't want to sing "The Eyes" anymore.

Oh I'm sure if somebody FOIA our emails about sully that it would be similar stuff. The issue here is that the staff at Texas Tribune, which is ultra liberal, has decided to weigh in on the Eyes of Texas issue. They want it gone. This is them trying to influence the populace into outrage and get rid of the song. It's not about reporting news, it's about trying to influence decisions. They've put all the tu alumni on notice basically telling them if they are not in agreement with the Texas Tribunes thoughts, they'll publicly shame them.

If they care enough to want sully gone, they'll do the same exact thing to us and our alumni but I think they like us having sully so they can try to set a perception about how racist and backwards we are.

See no one expects us to have anything but ultra conservative boosters. The tu boosters are ultra conservative too but they keep pushing forward with the idea of tu being some utopia where everyone is happy while A&M is some intolerant backwater.

They are reaping what they sow.

Since this poster thinks the opinions of Texans in 1876 is so important, what do you suppose those fine upstanding Texans would think of celebrating dildo parades at the university "of, by, and for the people of Texas"?

SATTERFIELD III v. MONSANTO COMPANY.
