I just spent a few seconds on a t sip forum. Apparently the big-money boosters thought it was worth giving Herman two more years because of this single recruit.

At the risk of computer AIDS, I went over to surlyhorns, the meltdown this morning is hotter than usual. I mean, I thought the sun was rising in the west due to the height of the dumpster flames.
If this kid sandbags the rest of the recruiting class, oh my, sips are no longer lost in the woods, they've wandered deep into the Sahara. Lack of water is giving them Urban hallucinations. And once again, no reputable coach is going to sign up, the sips are structurally screwed due to both being in the Big 12 (irrelevant, no one cares, poor crappy teams) and the LHN which will prevent them from being able to leave said Big 12. SEC and B1G gut the TX market in recruiting. 18yr olds being recruited were 7 the last time the longhorns had a team of any note. 7.

I know those idiots tried to start an Aggie website that absolutely no one went to. They are the most pathetic bunch of chodes in the world. I revel in their misery.

Shaggy Bevo™ the name got shut down by the AD due to trademark infringement. They trademarked Bevo™ (which in all honesty should be owned by Aggies for the 13-0 framework). The wailing and pulling hair was great. I think this was during the Patterson Era.
They changed their name to Shaggy Texas.
Then the majority owner of the website wanted to raise prices and have completely control of the content. The place went berserk. The founder and main contributors quit but told everyone about a new website called Surly Horns built on a different platform. Shaggy Texas got bombed with porn and excrement pictures/videos. It was literally a real **** show.

I feel Herman had success with a program benefitting from Sumlin and Briles in the past, along with a huge talent base... PJ has worked with nothing and found success. His big problem with going to tu is that it's all politics and he's not ready for that level of nonsense
Jerry Kill had built a pretty solid program before Fleck got to Minnesota. They were 9-4 in the last year before Fleck got there.Barbarossa said:
