The Baylor Bears on Saturday, 24 October--realizing that many Texas Longhorns football players and fans mistakenly think the historic and formerly-beloved University of Texas at Austin school song "The Eyes of Texas" was somehow racist--decided to help use this to their advantage in their game against the teassips in Austin.
As such, the Baylor Bears Football Team at the end of the first half of the game prepared to take the field of play on offense with just under a minute to play, at which point their sideline played on loud speakers "The Eyes of Texas," resulting in the Longhorns defense leaving the field in protest to their locker room.
Then, after three plays, the Baylor Bears offense scored a touchdown.
