(And 6th in 7 years)? Probably. Seriously, with such a garbage OOC schedule and playing in the dump fire conference, how is this level of suck even possible?

Nah, that's a couple of hours west of Lubbock.TommyBrady said:
You would think it would be easy to recruit kids to live in Satan's A s s hole
Truth. Growing up in Lubbock was like going back to the Garden of Eden after we visited family in Monahans or Eastern NM. You keep thinking that it can't get any worse but all you have to do is drive another mile west to be proven wrong.MooreTrucker said:Nah, that's a couple of hours west of Lubbock.TommyBrady said:

Kliff had 2 winning records in 6 years at tceh.Fightin_Aggie said:
So firing their former alumni head coach (who loved Lubbock and Texas Tech) who then gets an NFL Head coaching gig might have been a bad idea?
Who would have thunk it?

He had a 35-40 record overall and 19-35 in conference.
The problems in Lubbock began with Baylor hired Briles and TCU entered the BDF. Kids that would have gone to Lubbock now had options closer than going to Lubbock.

Actually, the perfect storm started for them in 2009. A&M was terrible and went to Lubbock and curb-stomped them. Then Leach starts fading down and they figure out a way to get rid of him to not pay him his bonuses. When he left, they hired Tuberville, a defensive coach who could never recruit the kids he needed to Lubbock and he had no defensive talent at all because Leach didn't care about that. Tubs was a terrible fit and he hated it there, so he bolted for Cincy. By then, the Big 12 falls apart and the rest is history.
Stupid Tards...
Kliff is a good NFL coach because he doesn't have to worry about recruiting or boosters and has a DC to take care of the defense that he doesn't care about.Fightin_Aggie said:

Remember when @ggy was leaving and it was good, because tceh and tu was going to forge into a better rivalry? How in the Yosemite Sam Hell do you have 5 straight losing seasons while playing in the dumpster fire conference? And 6 losing seasons in the past 7 years.
