Tech goes back and forth in hiring someone "new" and someone with Red Raider ties as of late. After Tubberville, it was Kingsbury, then Wells, so maybe the pendulum swings back to someone known within the program.

If Wells is gone after 2021, maybe Tech eyes former QB Sonny Cumbe (TCU OC and QB coach). Maybe UNT HC Seth Litrell (RB coach under Leach)? Dana Holgorsen (Leach co-offensive coordinator)? Or maybe Tech swings for the fences and brings Lincoln Riley home?
